Smokey Robinson Reveals That He Had An Affair w/ Diana Ross While He Was Married: It Lasted Longer Than It Should

 

It looks like Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross once dated!

During a recent interview with Vlad tv, legendary singer/songwriter Smokey Robinson revealed that he once had an affair with Diana Ross.

Before the big reveal, Robinson explained that the two were childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood, however, the famous producer had no idea Ross could sing until they were older.

“I didn’t even know she could sing. When I found out she could sing was when–she moved away from the from the Block, she moved to a place called the Brewster projects and after we started Motown she called me one day and she said, ‘Smoke I got this group you know and I want you to hear us so you can sign us up at Motown.’ So I said ‘okay’, I didn’t know she was a singer till then.”

“Yes..It lasted probably longer than it should because I was married at the time. This happened later, after I got married, after I got them signed up at Motown. That’s when that started.”

Diana Ross has had a very exciting dating history. Not only was she married twice, but her list of rumored exes include, Warren Beatty, Gene Simmons, Richard Gere, Michael Jackson, and Barry Gordy, with whom she had a daughter with.
